Although I believe firmly analog is the way of the future, I doubt I can convince the billion or so people whose livelihood depends on digital. We analogists lost this battle. Sorry, hand in your weapons and phone. We'll come back some day. Solidarity friend. Good luck

Obsolete, yes. You will not be able to watch tv on these types of phones!

Analog cellphones were switched OFF last month in the US. Analog cordless phones should still work.
